Because if you&#8217;re not creating pin images that actually get people&#8217;s attention and have them click so they can click through to your content, then you&#8217;re not using Pinterest the right way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You&#8217;re <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">going to get marketing on autopilot. But some cursive texts are not easy to read, especially on pin images.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People are scrolling quickly, usually on their phone, but maybe on their desktop as well. And you don&#8217;t want them to have to really try to figure out what your pin is saying. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>You want your pin really quickly to tell people what it&#8217;s about.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So though you want to make it pretty, make sure you&#8217;re using a font that people can easily read, because you don&#8217;t want them wasting their time and then getting frustrated because they can&#8217;t even read what your pin is about.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They\u2019ll move on to somebody else&#8217;s that they <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">read easily, and we want them clicking on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">content, not someone else\u2019s!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>You want the guidebook plus a checklist on everything you need to do to set your Pinterest up for greatness yourself? Make it big fonts, make it bold colors. And it&#8217;s okay to kind of mix up the two.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So even if you want to do more like a muted color, those can be okay, but make sure that your font stands out. Or if you&#8217;re going for more bold colors, you can have bold colors and bold fonts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Really the whole idea is to not be afraid to be <\/b><b><i>bold<\/i><\/b><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Obviously, if you&#8217;ve been watching me for a while, you know I&#8217;m bold. I love me some bold colors from my hair to my whole aesthetic and style.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So definitely when it comes to creating your pins, don\u2019t be afraid to use big texts and do bold, bright colors because when people are searching for your content and they&#8217;re typing in their search keyword, they&#8217;re going to come across a lot of different pins. So you want to make sure that yours stands out.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>\u2728 Create pin images that evoke emotion or get people curious or interested.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Make sure that the copy on your pins really speaks to their pain points and gets them curious.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have to give them a reason to be like, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, I got to click here. I got to go to whatever it is, their blog or their freebie or their podcast,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> whatever it is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You want to make sure your pin images catch their attention and evoke emotion to make sure that they want to click through to what you are offering on the other end of that pin.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>\u2728 Make sure your pin images don&#8217;t look spammy or weird.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Basically, you want to make sure you overcome anyone&#8217;s objections to clicking on your pin.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make sure that your pin looks branded, so it has your logo on it or your website name so that people kind of get that<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> know, like, trust<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> factor just from looking at that pin. They can feel your energy, you know, and it&#8217;s not looking like it might lead to a spammy website or they might not be getting the actual content they think they&#8217;re going to get.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Your pin should look like, okay, I&#8217;m about to go to someone&#8217;s <em>legit<\/em> website, <em>legit<\/em> podcast, <em>legit<\/em> freebie.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So you want to make sure you&#8217;re overcoming those objections that people might have to spammy-looking pins off the bat.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They are legible, they&#8217;re bold, they evoke emotion, and they overcome objections.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Definitely think about your pins and be your own critic. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t be afraid to be like, Oh my God, this time it sucks. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>I&#8217;ve looked at some of my old pins and I&#8217;m just like,<\/strong><\/span><strong><i> Girl, who raised you to make these ugly ass pins?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<iframe class=\"giphy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/1oFs0WngIjMD8cNHLI\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/teachersseries-teacher-teachers-teach-1oFs0WngIjMD8cNHLI\">via GIPHY<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like&#8230;<em>NO<\/em>.
