So here are two of my best tips that will help you make sure the RIGHT people (your target audience) are finding the content you actually WANT them to see!<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/3otPoN9yVUtgjVdmXm\/giphy.gif\" \/><\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>#1: How many boards should I have, and what do I call them?<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I get asked this question a lot &#8211; should you have more than one board on Pinterest?\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The answer is YES. Please have <b><i>at least<\/i><\/b><b> 12 to 15 boards, minimum, that are <\/b><b><i>niche specific <\/i><\/b><b>for your ideal audience.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I get asked this question a lot &#8211; should you have more than one board on Pinterest?\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">The answer is YES. Please have <b><i>at least<\/i><\/b><b> 12 to 15 boards, minimum, that are <\/b><b><i>niche specific <\/i><\/b><b>for your ideal audience. <\/b><\/b><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So for example&#8230;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83e\udd57<\/span>\u00a0If you are a vegan blogger:<br \/>Instead of naming your board something vague like \u201cYum Recipes\u201d (like what does that even mean?), make it more specific, like \u201cVegan Cake Recipes\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Your audience knows exactly what they\u2019re getting from this board. You&#8217;re posting or pinning vegan cake recipes to that board.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udcb0<\/span>\u00a0If you have a financial podcast:<br \/>Instead of naming your board \u201cMoney\u201d, make it more specific to what your audience will be searching for. Are they searching for budgets? Are they searching for <i>wealth building tools for millennials<\/i>? That can be a board name.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>What will your target audience be searching for?<\/b> Your board names should use those keywords.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">                <div class=\"ml-form-embed\"\n                     data-account=\"2072634:j7p8k5b9w3\"\n                     data-form=\"5092196:j1p7q6\">\n                <\/div>\n            <\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>#2: Can\u2019t I just use the same Pinterest profile for business and personal?<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you are on Pinterest as a business owner, you need to either hide your personal boards or create a separate profile for your business, separate from your personal profile.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>You MUST use your personal profile and your business profile differently<\/b>. You do not pin what you pin for your personal profile.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So if you are not a vegan blogger, you should NOT be pinning vegan recipes if you are a business coach for people who are not vegan recipe people. That wouldn&#8217;t make sense.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If it does not align with your business, then you need to hide those boards or create a business account specifically for your business and only pin things, <i>your <\/i>pins, <i>your <\/i>content relevant to your boards.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">That means these things need to GO if they are not relevant to your business:<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\uded1 <\/span>your favorite travel destinations <br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\uded1 <\/span>your favorite recipes<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\uded1 <\/span>your dream wedding ideas<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\uded1 <\/span>your home that you want<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\uded1 <\/span>your favorite workouts<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So I need you to go right now and see what boards you need to hide as secret board, or just create a whole new business account.
