{"id":6166,"date":"2022-02-22T08:00:47","date_gmt":"2022-02-22T13:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preshrodgers.com\/assistant\/?p=6166"},"modified":"2022-03-02T16:20:43","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T21:20:43","slug":"what-is-a-pinterest-workflow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/preshrodgers.com\/assistant\/what-is-a-pinterest-workflow\/","title":{"rendered":"What is a Pinterest Workflow and Why You Need One"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" align=\"center\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C94lirE898g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\r\n<div align=\"center\">\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If Pinterest is taking you too much time, <em>it probably means that you do not have a workflow in place.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>What\u2019s a workflow?<\/strong> Specifically for Pinterest, a workflow breaks down the different tasks that you have to do to maintain your Pinterest and creates a schedule around those tasks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Say for instance, you have to create the content, create the pin designs, and schedule out the content.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If every month or even every week and you have to waste time thinking okay, what do I have to do? Which content do I need to create pins for? What has already been pinned? What have I already done? Do these need pin designs? That can take a LOT of time away because you&#8217;re wasting it trying to figure out what you need to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whereas, with a Pinterest Workflow you <strong>already<\/strong> know, okay, this week, I know all the different pieces of content I&#8217;m going to create for the month or I&#8217;ve created for the past month, because usually content is already done. And then the next week I want to create pins only for these pieces of content. And then the next week, I&#8217;m going to schedule these pieces of content onto Tailwind and have them pinning and going out onto Pinterest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><em><strong>You are no longer wasting so much time trying to figure out all the things that you need to do.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I sit down with my <a href=\"https:\/\/preshrodgers.com\/assistant\/pinterestvibday\/\">VIB Day<\/a> clients, this is one of the things we create together in the Implementation portion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/preshrodgers.com\/assistant\/pinterestvibday\/\">VIB Day<\/a>. We jot down all of their tasks and their desired schedule around how they\u2019re going to make sure these things are getting implemented.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I teach them how to create a workflow, how to create a strategy and how to create a schedule around that workflow so that they (or someone on their team) are actually being efficient.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to actually marketing on Pinterest, <strong>you shouldn&#8217;t be spending hours upon hours upon hours on Pinterest marketing.<\/strong> When you have your schedule and your workflow in place, it won\u2019t take you that long.
