Let&#8217;s get into it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udddd\ufe0f<\/span><b> First, you need to have a lead magnet that is actually going to intrigue your audience.<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now you might be saying, okay, what is this lead magnet? And you might be like, Hey, Google, what&#8217;s a lead magnet? I&#8217;m gonna just tell you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span><b> lead magnet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a free offer that is valuable that will get people to hand you their precious, precious email address. So a lead magnet can be:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a webinar,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a masterclass,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a PDF,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a guide book,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a checklist,<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">any free offer that you are giving people to get their email address.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make sure that it&#8217;s something valuable that will make people <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">want <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to give their email addresses for it. Because you don&#8217;t want to give your email address to just anybody, right?\u00a0 So if you\u2019re just saying, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSign up for my newsletter!\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; my first question is, what am I getting? What are you giving me for free? People want to receive something in exchange.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have a bomb ass lead magnet, now you have to grow your email list with action takers. You don&#8217;t want to just have a whole bunch of people on there who are not actually taking action on your content because you&#8217;re wasting space. If you&#8217;re using something like ConvertKit, you don&#8217;t have space to waste because you pay for those subscribers. If they are not interacting with your content, opening your emails you don&#8217;t want them, you don&#8217;t need them. You need action takers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udddd\ufe0f <\/span><b>So how do you use Instagram to grow your email list?\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use Instagram to grow your email list by<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> talking about your lead magnet often.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> And then of course the call to action is telling them to click the link in your bio to actually get your free thing. Whenever you post about something, the call to action is to click the link in your bio to get your free offer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, I\u2019d say at least once a week on your stories, your feed, your reels, your IGTVs, you are telling people to click the link in your bio to get your free offer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div align=\"center\">\r\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udddd\ufe0f <\/span><b>Bonus pro tip: put in your bio that you have something free for them if they click the link in your bio.\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So if you look at my Instagram, my bio says FREEBIE with an arrow. You need to tell people on Instagram exactly what you want them to do, otherwise they&#8217;re not going to do it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And you need to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">keep <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">telling them to do it because the first time you tell somebody to click the link in your bio, they are not going to do it. So you want to make sure that you are repeating yourself and talking about your free thing often.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That&#8217;s how you&#8217;re going to use Instagram to grow your email list. And it&#8217;s really about being very strategic, about using your calls to action and incorporating those things into your topics that you&#8217;re talking about.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">                <div class=\"ml-form-embed\"\n                     data-account=\"2072634:j7p8k5b9w3\"\n                     data-form=\"5092196:j1p7q6\">\n                <\/div>\n            <\/p>\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udddd\ufe0f <\/span><b>Now, how do you use Pinterest to grow your email list?\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So with Pinterest, you are going to take your lead magnet and create a whole bunch of pins about that lead magnet and put it on Pinterest. Keyword your pins correctly, and people are just going to find your lead magnet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because Pinterest is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cold traffic<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you want to make sure that your lead magnet page (whatever page you&#8217;re driving them to where they can sign up for your masterclass, your free guide book, whatever it is) is designed for cold traffic.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to make it clear so they understand exactly what they&#8217;re getting and why they want to get it from you. So you want to have good, clear copy on these pages that can actually get people to easily give you their email addresses, where they\u2019re thinking, \u201cOkay, I see exactly what I&#8217;m going to get, I see the benefits of it, I want it, here&#8217;s my email, sign me up.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With Pinterest, you don&#8217;t have to convince people that they want the thing you\u2019re offering because they were already searching for it. And because they were already searching for it, they&#8217;re already more likely to be action takers because they already know they definitely need a solution (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> solution) to the problem that they\u2019re searching.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They need you, they found you. So they already are going to get your free thing and just give you their email address. They like free stuff on Pinterest but they are also action takers. And that&#8217;s what matters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So when it comes to growing your email list with action takers, I will say that I believe that Pinterest is ideal for this because in the long term, it will constantly still be driving traffic to your content.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As business owners, as coaches and content creators a lot of the time we have multiple free offers that we have out there and on Instagram, we are only focusing on one.
