I walked over and snatched the bag off his head. He opened his eyes, and they blinked a few times as if they were adjusting to the scenery. \u201cWhere am I?\u201d he questioned like we were about to have a regular conversation.<\/p>

\u201cYou know who I am?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cNot really but I\u2019m going to assume Jareem,\u201d he said looking up at me. \u201cI hope that means you will be the one who tells me why the hell I\u2019m here and what the fuck kind of beef you got with me.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cOh, they ain\u2019t fill you in?\u201d I questioned as I looked back at Rambo and LB. I knew they hadn\u2019t but sometimes I liked to be dramatic.<\/p>

\u201cClearly not if I\u2019m asking.\u201d<\/p>

I let my right fist humble him. He ate it like a G and it impressed me. But I still didn\u2019t like him. Not even if I needed him to help me out. He was a pawn necessary to get me to the end goal. \u201cI came here in a good mood. Don\u2019t fucking ruin it for me or yourself because this can go great for you or really fuckin\u2019 bad.\u201d<\/p>

His poker face was good but he couldn\u2019t fool me when I had the fuckin\u2019 proof. I pulled out the pictures I\u2019d printed out before I got here and dropped them at his feet. \u201cThat ain\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>

He looked down at the pictures. \u201cNah.\u201d<\/p>

I sent another punch to his jaw for testing my intelligence. Blood flew from his mouth. \u201cThis ain\u2019t you? Choose your words wisely Amare. I don\u2019t like being lied to.\u201d<\/p>

He spit blood out onto the floor before bringing his eyes back to mine. \u201cAight that\u2019s me. What the fuck now? You gonna kill me or some shit?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cNow we make a deal,\u201d I said satisfied with him manning up and being honest. I undid the rope tied around his wrists. I made eye contact with Rambo and LB who changed their demeanor as they went into guard dog mode. I shook my head, and they chilled out. I had something special for his ass if he tried to run. But he didn\u2019t.<\/p>

\u201cA deal?\u201d he questioned as he wrung out his wrists and shook them. \u201cI don\u2019t know nothing about you and I\u2019m not trying to make a deal with the devil.\u201d<\/p>

I huffed at that. I\u2019m only the devil to some when necessary. \u201cWell let\u2019s get better acquainted. I\u2019m Reem as you know and I work with the Sultan.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cWell I don\u2019t fuck with any kind of drug shit or whatever TSE has going on. That\u2019s not me. No deal.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cGood thing I ain\u2019t asking you to be apart of the drug side of things.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI want nothing to do with the Sultan Empire. That\u2019s what I\u2019m saying. I said I don\u2019t make deals with the devil.\u201d<\/p>

I crossed my arms over my chest. \u201cWell you ain\u2019t got much of a choice.\u201d<\/p>

Amare stared at me. \u201cWhat if I can give you all your shit back?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI already got everything I wanted back. Don\u2019t underestimate me.\u201d<\/p>

A hint of curiosity crossed over his face but it left as quick as it came. \u201cIn that case what do you want with me? Why am I here?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cWhat are you deaf? I already said to make a deal. I might have some of my stuff back but it\u2019s about the disrespect. Therefore, what you gone do is work for me. You can pay off your debt and make your own money. When you look at it\u2026 it works in your favor.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI don\u2019t give a fuck!\u201d Spit flew from my mouth. Frustration filled my bones. I was trying to be nice to the little dumb fuck and sell his raggedy ass a dream and he wanted to turn it down. \u201cNo isn\u2019t an option. Maybe I\u2019m not making that clear enough.\u201d I reached into my pocket and pulled out my cancer sticks.<\/p>

These fuckers always make me go there.<\/p>

\u201cIt is today. Fuck outta here,\u201d he stated as he stood to his feet. He hesitated to see if Rambo or LB would make a move towards him but as I had ordered them, they ain\u2019t move a muscle or blink an eye.<\/p>

He started towards the exit when I dropped the bomb I\u2019d been holding right before I lit up my cigarette. \u201cYou must be Jesus or something if you think you can walk the fuck away. I already told you. We have a deal and if you don\u2019t hold up your half of the bargain, you gone have to pay.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cWhatever,\u201d he said as he continued to walk. \u201cDo what you gotta do.\u201d<\/p>

I nodded my head as a smirk crossed my face. He had more heart than I thought. \u201cIt\u2019s gone suck when Auztin can\u2019t run anymore.\u201d He stopped dead in his tracks as I inhaled taking in the nicotine. I had done my research. I knew he had a little brother. I knew his brother was this star track player and from what some of my insiders told me, Amare and Auztin were thick as thieves. No pun intended.
