How to Create a Pinterest Strategy that Wins

How to Create a Pinterest Strategy that Wins

Feeling like you’re not getting any traction with your current Pinterest strategy?

Been there, felt that. HATED IT.

You’ve set up your Pinterest for business account, you’re ready to be a Total Pinterest Badass and drive all kinds of traffic to your business so that you can get more eyes on your content, and….crickets. You’re just staring at Pinterest and Pinterest staring right back.

So let’s talk about how to create a Pinterest strategy that wins.

✅ So the first thing is that you need to do your keyword research.

You know, I’ve said it a hundred times, but I’m gonna say it again. Do your keyword research so that you can create a very optimized profile. This is how your ideal clients actually find you and your content!

✅ The second thing is you need to create niche-specific boards.

So these are boards that your ideal audience, your dream client will find what they need on these boards, because they are hitting on their pain points and the things that you are creating and serving.

✅ The next thing is that you need to be pinning 5 to 15 times a day

And you need to be consistent. So you need to be pinning daily, 5 to 15 times a day especially if you are using the platform only organically. I know that is a huge gap but this is really business and industry dependent and based around the amount of content you’re creating. For some of my clients I pin 5 times a day, for others I pin 13! Either way, your best bet is to get Pinterest’s magical unicorn best friend, Tailwind, which will optimize the best times that you need to be pinning.

Bonus: Create & Pin at least 1 to 2 Idea Pins per week. Idea pins, as of October 2021, is one of the things Pinterest is really pushing. Though it might not seem like a great feature being that you can’t link it to a certain URL, it is still a great way to get your content out there and more followers. More people seeing your valuable content, will make them take the extra mile to go to your profile where they can then go to your website or click on your other pins that link to your content off of Pinterest. The point – DON’T SLEEP ON IDEA PINS!

✅ And the last thing is you need to be creating visually pleasing and scroll-stopping images for your Pinterest.

You need to make sure that your pin images are on point because your dream clients will never find your badass services if they don’t even click on your content!

So you need to do all these things. And these are like the basics of creating a strategy that wins.

It’s important to have a strategy and be consistent. With the right strategy, pins, and keywords — Pinterest will have your business soaring and you’ll be able to nurture those new victims (𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘴, 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴 — 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦) the right way. ⁣⁣
